Today was wild
For starters, today was a holiday- so I had a whole day to myself, my writing and music. Sounds pleasant right?
Not really.
Turns out, every time I have a holiday, things suddenly decide to wreak havoc and not ever go my way. I woke up today, doing some magazine obligations, it’s really some fun stuff. I’ll let all of you know when the first issue comes out lol.
I thought today I’d just chill and have some fun. But no. Turns out I have a presentation due tomorrow, and my mind picked this perfect time to suddenly get creative. What about all the other days when I was absolutely devoid of motivation?
What does my mind have to say for that?
No, it’s only on the most busy days, the days when I’m supposed to work out and complete a presentation and binge watch The Mentalist, it’s only on those days that my “Idea Notebook” gets filled. The positive side of this is that I’ve got tons of ideas for posts now, so let’s celebrate that!!!
I was quite angry for the most of the day, and listening to music definitely did not elevate my anger. It just bought me back into the mood
To power through the first half of my day, I listened to this playlist curated by Spotify. It’s just a compilation playlist of all the Top Hits, the top songs by the top artists!
Save Your Tears by the Weeknd– It’s such a good song, and the beat’s a bit basic, I think, but the Weeknd made really good use of it. I like the chorus and the bridge of the song the most- the amplify the meaning and message of the song a lot!
Drivers License by Olivia Rodrigo– There’s lots of emotions and drama surrounding this song. While we’re not about to get into that, lemme just say, I love Olivia so much!!
I love her voice and her song-writing style so much. Though the start of this song isn’t the fastest, the chorus makes up for it. Like the before song, the chorus of this song is also my favourite part of this song!
Streets by Doja Cat– I’m so happy this song is finally getting the attention it deserves. This song was arguably one of the best songs in her “Hot Pink” album. I love this song so much, and the lyricism displayed is just wow!!
Skin by Sabrina Carpenter– Yes, I’m going to be mentioning this song as well. Sabrina is so talented and her voice is so nice and soothing and pleasant to listen to. This song is pure bliss and once again, I’m a sucker for the lyrics and all the hidden meanings in it lol.
Baila Conmigo by Selena Gomez and Rauw Alejandro– This is my favourite song in the whole playlist. Despite all the flack Selena keeps getting on a daily basis, I’m her biggest fan. I love how her voice sounds in Spanish and Rauw did an amazing job too. Both their voices sound so sensual and euphoric together.
There’s nothing about this song that I not like. I love the lyrics- it’s about having a one night stand with someone, like a stranger whom you deeply like and feel an incling towards, even though you both don’t speak the same language and don’t verbally understand each other, the bodies do all the talking. This is such a good song, you should listen to it!!

Story Time
So around the afternoon, I was playing around with all the WordPress Templates and browsing and reading other people’s blogs and stuff like that, when I ACCIDENTALLY CLICKED AND ADDED A TEMPLATE TO MY BLOG- the entire layout of my blog changed- and it was all live?!!!
I hope no one saw that lol. I bought it all back within half an hour, hyper ventilating all the while. My heart was legit jumping in and out of my chest as I tried to get everything back to normal lolol.
My blog looks much better now.😌
I’ve been getting bias-wrecked by Yeonjun of TXT so hard these days- he’s so perfect and funny, and my heart pretty much gave up after seeing him on New York Fashion Week. I’ve decided to surrender to the devil, that is Yeonjun.
Anyways, that was it for today- I mean I know my day was kinda boring, but I felt like I had to write about this lol.

There was one time where I accidentally changed the layout of the website my entire class shared, and they were like “wHo IS cHangiNg thiS” and i wuz like..oops… Anyways, if you like Driver’s License, you should listen to James Charles version of it (I didn’t really like Olivia’s version, but James’ got me addicted) 🥂
